There are four species of ground finches and all bears similarity in coloration. Apart from that they are called Darwin's Finches! Yet, Darwin did not discover and he never wrote about them, but nonetheless, they did play a part in his evolutionary ideas. All four finches have almost exact bills of the crushing variety type, which is very useful for feeding on seeds.
